Dwarf Hairgrass will spread and grow faster provided a nutrient rich soil (our favorite soils can be found by clicking here.), CO2, and high lighting. Dwarf Hairgrass spreads through runners creating a dense, visually appealing carpet that promotes a healthy aquatic environment by oxygenating the water and providing shelter for small fish and shrimp.
